Girls home for the summer minus one

What a great summer we had. It is so much fun to have the girls home and together again. I realize that all to soon this will not happen that often! Already, we were minus Autumn, but we had fun inspite of missing Autumn. The house is so quiet now that it is just Madi left at home. She doesn't like it much either. I really do not know how I will ever be an empty nester. I cannot imagine what it will be like and how I will keep from being totally bored out of my mind. Don't get me wrong, I have a million things I want to do, but somehow I can't imagine day in and day out, being in this house all alone. Of course, there will be J. but he will go off to work each day and then what will I do. I can tell you this, for the first time in 29 years, I have been able to stay in bed, because I don't have to get anyone to school. Madi now drives herself to school. Sometimes I even stay in bed until 8:30 am. That is quite an amazing thing. Anyway, it is great having the girls come home. We had a giant party that lasted from Thanksgiving through January 7th! During that month, I believe our family saw about 8 movies. It was amazing and what was really amazing is that we enjoyed everyone of them. We even convinced J. to go see a sneak preview of "27 Dresses" with us. It was great fun. Luckily, J. likes chick flicks almost as much as we do! Finally they all went back to their various lives and let me get back to mine, which by the way is a bit busier than I would like. Last May I was called to be the Relief Society President of our little ward here in Walnut Creek. That is a great story, one which I will tell another time. Anyway, we are looking forward to August when Autumn will be back from Germany and the four girls can be reunited again! The aunties miss their nephews and can hardly wait to see them again!
